Stockdales is a local registered charity that supports children and adults
with learning and complex health needs, we will be
raising awareness of the charity at the event. We will
also be offering children/young people the chance to
decorate cakes and biscuits.

Fresh local grown food is best! Hundreds
of allotment holders in Trafford have already
discovered the pleasure of growing and harvesting
their own fruit and vegetables. Come and find out
more about allotment keeping in Trafford. Get a
taste of local honey – Cheshire beekeepers are
producing honey from hives based at the Balmoral
Allotments and Orchard in Flixton. Apples from
Balmoral Orchard make delicious fresh juice.
We’ll be juicing using the Red Rose Forest Apple
Press. We will also have homemade jam to try.

We’re the Parkinson’s support and research
charity. For more than 40 years we’ve been
working to find a cure and improve life for
everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
Trafford Stroke Support Group

We are part of a network of self funded, voluntary
support groups; we provide social support for anyone
affected by stroke in the Trafford area. We meet on a
weekly basis at 10am-12pm Tuesdays at the Avenue
Methodist Church, for more information please call 0161
283 1989. We will provide information and advice on
stroke prevention and support.

Fairtrade in Trafford is pleased to promote fairly
traded goods at this year’s Taste Sensation. Last year
Trafford became a Fairtrade Borough, we aim to support
producers less well off than ourselves by promoting in
Fairtrade goods. Visit our stall for free samples, and
literature, and visit on the Trafford website to see how
you can support our continuing campaign to retain the
Fairtrade Status.
